Ok, so the method I propose is absolutely non intrusive. You might want to flash the recovery you'll find here-under but I personally haven't done it so feel free to go first  Flashing back the original recovery shouldn't be a big deal anyway.

Prerequisite
You should have installed:

• K910 ADB Driver (available on the CD that appear when you connect the device)
• ADB
• Fastboot

Rooting
So the method is pretty easy:

1. Download the latest SuperSU update.zip and put it at the root of your Internal SD Card
2. (Optional) Download Google Apps for Android 4.2.2 (thanks to TeamAndroid) and put it at the root of your Internal SD Card
3. Download the recovery.img
4. un-7zip it
5. Restart your device in the bootloader:
   
   Code:

   adb reboot-bootloader

6. Boot your phone into the ClockworkMod recovery:
   
   Code:

   fastboot boot cwm_recovery_custom.img

7. Install zip, wipe partition, backup/restore, adb sideload, ...
8. Reboot

The phone is left untouched except for the zip you flashed.

How to Root Galaxy Note 3 LTE N9005 on Android 4.3 Official Firmware with CF-Auto-Root:

Required File(s):

• Download CF-Auto=Root for Galaxy Note 3 LTE N9005 (CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005.zip)
• Download Odin v3.07

Step 1 – Install drivers and extract Odin v3.07 and CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005.zip files that you just downloaded.

Step 2 – Now, switch off your phone to boot it into Download mode by pressing and holding Volume down + Home + Power Key (long Press), till you see the Android Logo on screen. And then press the Power key/Volume Up to enter download mode.

Step 3 – Open the “Odin.exe” and then connect your phone to computer via USB cable. As soon as you connect, ID:COM box in Odin turns light green/yellow color as shown in the image below.

Step 4 – Now select the CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005.tar.md5 that you download before by clicking on PDA Button in Odin.

Step 5 – Make sure that only F. Reset Time and Auto Reboot boxes are checked on Odin. Don’t check any other boxes. Also, tick Re-Partition box if you have got a “.pit” file.

Step 6 – Finally click on Start button on Odin to start installation process. It will take upto 5 – 8 minutes, so please wait for the installation finish.

Step 7 – Finally, you will get PASS! Notification on the ID: COM box and then your device will reboot automatically and now you can unplug your phone from computer. First boot would take some time so be patient.

That’s it! Your Galaxy Note 3 LTE N9005 is now Rooted on Official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Firmware. To verify, look for SuperSU app in your App Drawer. You can now Overclock your device or install Custom Firmwares. HOW TO UNROOT (ALMOST) ALL ANDROID DEVICES (SIMPLIFIED)

Firstly, in order to unroot your android device, you need:

1) An update available for your phone or an old nandroid backup that has a previous version of your phone android version

2) A nandroid backup done before you attempt the following steps below

Once the above conditions are met, you are ready to UNROOT your phone!

Before you read the procedure, read how it works

below and get a better picture:

HOW

Firstly, one known method of unrooting is to install an available system update. However, stock updates are signed with official keys and custom recoveries only accept updates signed with their custom keys.

So, to unroot, you need to have stock recovery installed. One way to get your phone`s stock recovery back is contained in the update zip.

The update zip is the key, literally. Look through it and you will find (usually in the system folder) a file called recovery.img, which will be used as your new stock recovery.

By flashing in the image into recovery, you can now install updates, keep your previous applications, enjoy being unrooted and updated.

There are other unroot options that tailor to specific android phones and versions, but this solution should work on all android phones.

Why unroot? Because sending in a rooted phone for repair will void your warranty. Also, by having a rooted phone, you run the risk of a rogue rooted application that does unwanted stuff to your phone.

PROCEDURE

Step 1) If you still have your original stock recovery that came with your phone, continue. Else search for my previous thread: "[RECOVERY] Reverting to original(STOCK) recovery" and follow the steps there. You can use the update file you used to revert to stock recovery here as well or vice versa

Step 2) Reboot you phone

Step 3) Check for system updates and download them

Step 4) Wait until phone reboots. All your applications and user settings will be retained.

Step 5a) Open up a terminal emulator on your phone and enter "su" (Check if unroot)

Step 5b) If you cant turn your phone on to check if unrooted, boot into recovery mode, open up adb enter:

Step 6) If you get "permission denied" or something like that from step 5a/5b,

CONGRATULATIONS! YOUR PHONE HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY UNROOTED!

Step 7) If you don`t want to void your warranty, you should unistall applications that require root, especially Superuser

To date, I have rooted and unrooted my phone (Backflip) 3 times without any problems. In case your phone can`t be booted up, only to the bootloader or recovery, DO NOT WORRY! You can use the adb (android debug bridge) to flash in the stock recovery, push/pull the updates and reboot the phone into recovery mode or normal mode!!!

The process is really simple for rooting the phone:

• First what you need to do is download "MotoChopper" on your PC.
• Extract the .zip file to a specific folder
• Install the USB drivers using PdaNet+
• Enable USB Debugging mode on your device.
• For Windows users, execute the "run.bat" inside the contents of the extracted archive. Be sure to run it as admin. For Linux or OS X users,execute “./run.sh” via terminal window.

And its done! I have tested this method on windows and it is working. It will continuously repeat that adb server is outdated and it is killing it but don't worry about it, it will still continue...

Follow the steps carefully in the terminal window. After the window closes itself REBOOT YOUR PHONE!!!

To check if the phone is rooted correctly or not use, Root Checker Basic from the playstore, it should do your work...

- download the .tar file
- install Kies, or Samsung driver pack
- download Odin3 1.84 or 1.85 (download links above)
- stop Kies
- stop all active ADB sessions
- start odin
- power off Your SGY
- boot into download mode
- Press Vol Down, Home, and Power at the same time
- When (about 5 sec) Warning screen appears, release Volume Down and Power, then (a bit later) Home
- press Vol Up (You'll get Odin mode screen)
- in the PDA field, browse for the kernel tar
- leave all other fields and checkboxes default!
- connect your phone, You must see yellow 0:[COMxx] in the first ID:COM and "Added" in the message box
- Start flashing by the START button.
- flashing will start immediately, see the progress in the message box, and progress bar on the phone
- Wait 1-3 minutes, until green PASS! in the upper left
- SGY will reboot, leave it as is for 2-5 minutes until startup finishes

My Method

1. Turn off phone and boot into CWM
(Note: To boot into CWM press Vol Up, Home, and Power at the same time and in the stock recovery choose update from zip and select the CWM.zip)
2. Once in the CWM recovery, simply choose install from zip and select KernelUpdate.zip
(Note : Kernel Update.zip looks for a boot.img file in SD card and flashes it)
3. After successful kernel up press power to return to CWM
4. Press Reboot now, and your kernel is updated

What is "Rooting?"

The Android phone that you have learned to love and enjoy is running an operating system that was designed for commercial and private use. Like most any operating system, several features have been disabled, either for future use or to prevent the casual user from causing permanent damage to the operating system. "Rooting" is the process in which the limitations are removed and full-access is allowed. Once rooted, the Android phone owner will have more control over many settings, features and performance of their phone. Basically, "rooting" means to get to the root of the operating system and to have the ability to make global changes.

Advantages-

"Rooting" your Android phone does afford you numerous benefits, including;

1.Running special applications-Superuser is an app that can only be run on a rooted Android phone. This allows you to control which apps have access to the "root" system. Another popular application that "rooting" affords is the ability to tether a computer to your Android phone so that the computer can access the Internet using the phone's data connection. Another program can allow your Android to be used as a WiFi Hotspot without having to pay your provider for the feature.
2.Freeing up memory-When you install an app on your phone, it is stored on the phone's memory. "Rooting" allows you to move installed applications to your SD card, thus freeing up system memory for additional files or apps.
3.Custom ROM's-This is the most powerful feature of "rooted" phones. There are hundreds of custom ROM's that can do anything from speeding up the processing speed of your phone to changing the entire look and feel of your phone.
Disadvantages Of Rooting your phone 
1.Rooting immediately voids your phone's warranty-Once rooted, don't try to bring your phone back for service or warranty work. You are on your own!
2.Rooting involves the risk of "bricking" your phone-In essence, a "bricked" phone is no better than carrying around a brick in your pocket. The phone is dead when it has been "bricked.

Other potential disadvantages, though less severe, are still worthy of consideration;

1.Poor performance-Though the intention of "rooting" a phone is to give the phone more performance, several users have found that, in their attempts to speed up the phone or add additional features, that their phones lost both performance speed and features. Remember that when you "root" your Android phone, you are making changes to the stock operating system.
2.Viruses-Yes, even phones can get viruses. A common practice that people do with "rooted" phones is to flash their ROM's with custom programs. Whenever you make changes to the code of a software, you run the risk of introducing a virus."
So if You are not careful with your phone Don't root it

LETS BEGIN!  

Rooting:

• Step 1: Download the Framaroot.apk app to your phone or computer.
• Step 2: Copy Framaroot from your computer to your phone memory.
• Step 3: Install Framaroot from the apk file.
• Step 4: Choose “install Superuser”  option inside Framaraoot.
• Step 5: Select any of the exploits that appears in the app and wait for some time.
• Step 6: If you see a “Success  … Superuser and su binary installed. You have to reboot your device” message then you have successfully rooted your phone .
• Step 7: If you see “Failed … Try another exploit if available”  message then try selecting another exploit .
• Download Root checker to verify if your phone is rooted or not .

Unrooting:

1. Open Framaroot app and Select an action to execute after root as “UNROOT“.
2. Then Select an exploit in the list above to potentially root your Device as “GANDALF” and your phone will be rebooted within a fraction. Also, wait for the “Unroot done” message to confirm your status. You can also download and install Root Checker app for further actions.

After un-rooting, you will get your lost warranty back. You can confirm it by entering into download mode by pressing Vol Down + Power On + Home key simultaneously. Also, be aware that before making any OTA update, you must unroot your phone and revert your lost warranty back. Anyway, I’d always suggest you to go for custom ROMs rather than OTA updates.
